Linn Gabathuler

My name is Linn Gabathuler, pronouns she/her, I am 23 years old and live in Zurich. After graduating from high school with a focus on visual arts, I attended the preparatory course at the Zurich University of the Arts, where I have been studying design with a focus on Trends & Identity since September 2024. I am currently taking a gap year, during which I am doing an Erasmus exchange in Dublin, Ireland, where I am studying illustration at the National Academy for Arts and Design for the fall semester of 2025. I expect to complete my studies in June 2027.
I am interested in social change, everyday cultures, identity, trend research, and ethnography. In my work, I combine my interests with a wide variety of design techniques and media. I do not limit myself to one design discipline, but see design as a tool for understanding technology and language, questioning identities, and exploring trends. My design is moved by society.
